Wednesday - 8am to 12noon
Thursday - Closed
Friday - 1pm to 5pm
Saturday - 10am to 3pm
Sunday - 10am to 3pm.

Closed:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day.

Trash & Treasure reuse shop is available during the facility open hours.

Waste accepted

This facility accepts:

  • commercial waste
  • car and truck batteries, deep cycle batteries, lead-acid batteries, non-alkaline batteries from household sources only
  • clean fill, though prior approval from us is required by calling 131 872
  • domestic chemicals from household sources only to a maximum 5L per visit
  • general non-hazardous waste
  • drumMUSTER eligible containers
  • e-waste - read about e-waste recycling options
  • fire extinguishers, except yellow extinguishers containing halon 1211 (BCF) or 1301 (BTM); call 1800 658 084 to arrange for the disposal of any unwanted halon extinguishers
  • gas bottles up to 9kg that are empty from domestic sources only, limited to two
  • green waste
  • rock, concrete, asphalt and builder's rubble
  • engineered stone products as general waste
  • motor oil from household sources only to a maximum 20L per visit - no cooking oil, transmission oil or hydraulic fluids 
  • paint products from domestic sources only to a maximum 20L per visit
  • thinners and solvents from domestic sources only to a maximum 5L per visit
  • refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners - fee applies
  • tyres that are 260mm width or less, a maximum four tyres per visit, from domestic and commercial sources - fees apply
  • scrap metal
  • treated and untreated timber
  • dead animals by appointment only. Phone us on 131 872 to book an appointment. 
  • white goods.

Waste not accepted

The following items are not accepted at this facility:

  • ammunition, detonators, flares or explosives
  • asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
  • fire extinguishers containing halon (yellow cylinders)
  • liquid waste, except as listed in accepted waste
  • special burials
  • solid regulated waste.
