Real estate agents and solicitors can easily access rates, property details and other related services through our real estate portal. The self-service portal is available 24/7, so you can find the information you need in just minutes, helping you meet deadlines without the stress.
When searching by lot on plan, this useful tool shows:
- property location
- property description (lot on plan)
- half-yearly rates and charges, including water charges
- outstanding balance
- current water meter readings; historic readings are not available
- land area
- land valuation.

Tips for using the portal
- General rates notices are issued in August and February and water rate notices in October and April.
- Residential properties can receive a 5% discount on the general rate, sewerage charge and water infrastructure charge when payment is made by the due date shown on the notice.
- If you see the message 'Rates have not been generated', please check the gross rates and charges for the previous period or contact us for assistance.
- The real estate portal does not replace the need for a formal rate search or a special water meter reading for conveyancing purposes. Solicitors must still complete these searches as part of the process.
