Property rates search
Our property rates search helps you access important property details, including historic development information or rating information such as outstanding balances and water meter readings.

How to request a property rates search
- Sign in or register.
- Hover over the 'Searches' tab.
- Click on 'New property search'.
- Click on 'Online search request'.
- Select the search required and click 'Next'.
- Complete the required details and pay relevant fees.
Information included in a property rates search
A standard property rates search provides the following details:
- unimproved land value
- current rates position
- State Emergency Management Levy
- water meter details, including the last reading
- realignments
- resumptions or easement requisitions
- requisitions - water, sewerage and health
- trade waste requirements
- property related debt.
Special water meter reading
If you need an updated water meter reading for settlement adjustments, you can request a special water meter reading for an additional fee.
- Special readings are not included in a standard property rates search.
- A separate request and payment are required.
Timeframes for search requests
- Property rates search - five working days.
- Special water meter reading - five working days.
