Eclectic Harmony exhibition inspired by Rural living and community
Published on 05 November 2025
A vibrant showcase of diverse styles and mediums features in an exhibition titled, Eclectic Harmony, which will be on display at Goombungee’s Rosalie Gallery from November 12 to December 14, 2025.
The exhibition features artworks by artists from Wyreema, Cambooya, Greenmount, Nobby, and Clifton who formed the Back Road Artists’ collective to support and encourage emerging and established artists across the Region.
Each member contributes their unique style and preferred subjects to the exhibition to create a collective and vibrant tapestry, like a thoughtfully crafted patchwork quilt.
Every piece carries its own story and character, yet they are seamlessly stitched together by the common threads of country life.
The exhibition reflects the artists’ shared journey, depicting a celebration of everyday moments from the ordinary to the unexpected.
By exchanging ideas, sharing creative breakthroughs and personal triumphs, the Back Road Artists uplift one another and reveal the beauty within their collective expression.
Their work, inspired by motherhood, rural living and community care, speaks to the quiet strength found in connection and creativity.
By embracing this eclectic approach, the Back Road Artists offer a limitless space for creativity, inviting audiences to experience art in a way that is both deeply personal and warmly communal.
The exhibiting features works by Kerry Chant, Karin Cheetham, Leisa Clark, Terese Eglington, Angie Hart, Donna Hockey, Karen Howard, Merlene Konz, Jen Marshall, Jodie Rigby, Jade Sweeney and Sarina van der Watt.
The exhibition’s Artists in Conversation event will be held on Saturday, November 15 from 11am.
