We look forward to welcoming you and we ask you to please stay Covid Safe. Your Gallery experience may be different from what you are used to, but your safety is our main priority. As we all adjust to a new way of sharing art, we ask for your patience and understanding.

Please do not visit if in the previous 14 days you have:

  • returned to Australia from overseas (other than a safe travel zone country)
  • been in close contact with an active COVID-19 case
  • been in a declared COVID-19 hotspot, place of concern or exposure venue, as defined by the Chief Health Officer
  • had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu like symptoms in the last 72 hours.

Contact tracing information

It is a condition of entry to the gallery that you provide your contact information. We’re using the new Check In Qld app to help keep you COVID safe the next time you visit.

All you need to do is download the Check In Qld APP:

  1. Enter your details once.
  2. Open the app when you next visit us.
  3. Select 'check in now'  and hover your smartphone over our QR code.
  4. Done!

Using this digital check-in means your details are stored securely by the Queensland Government for fast COVID-19 contact tracing if needed.

Safety measures

To ensure the health and well-being of our visitors and our team we are putting in place additional safety measures. These include:

  • limited capacity in galleries: please follow signage recommendations for each gallery space
  • gallery team members will be available to assist visitors and monitor the flow of people through the Gallery
  • sanitiser stations are positioned at entries to each facility. Please sanitize your hands on entry
  • additional cleaning of the Gallery including high-traffic areas and high-touch items is in place
  • please consider what you bring as cloaking facilities will not be available; bags or objects over 40 x 40cm are not permitted in galleries in the Toowoomba Region
  • gallery tours and all other public programs are not available
  • sales of artworks will not be conducted 'on premises' but artist details for sales will be available on request.

Please note that in complying with coronavirus restrictions we currently cannot cloak any items. Bags or objects over 40 x 40cm are not permitted to be carried in the galleries. We appreciate your support in caring for the collections by leaving large items at home.

Protect our community

Please help us protect our community by:

  • providing accurate contact information so you can be contacted quickly if you are affected
  • complying with current physical distancing guidelines of 1.5 metres
  • wash your hands frequently with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand rub
  • when coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue
  • dispose of used tissues in the covered pedal bins provided
  • consider downloading the COVIDSafe app.

Thank you for your continued support for Galleries in the Toowoomba region and for helping to keep everyone in our community safe and well.
