Rosalie gallery

Rosalie Gallery is a purpose-built facility that was constructed by the former Rosalie Shire Council to meet the growing needs of the art community.

Opened in 2005, the light-filled Gallery presents a range of high-quality exhibitions, workshops and art events that support the local community, artists and groups. The friendly Gallery and volunteer teams welcome the many local and travelling visitors with country hospitality.

The health and wellbeing of our visitors, staff and volunteers is our top priority. Wearing face masks is encouraged when visiting.

Please do not visit if you are unwell or have been in the past 72 hours.

Please help us protect our community by:

  • complying with current physical distancing guidelines of 1.5 metres
  • washing your hands frequently with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand rub
  • cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue when coughing and sneezing
  • disposing of used tissues in the covered pedal bins provided
  • Please make use of our Sanitiser stations

Applications for the 2023 Rosalie Gallery exhibition program are open. Rosalie Gallery is seeking proposals from artists, curators, arts/crafts groups, community members and organisations for next year's program. The details and application form can  downloaded here Exhibit with us.

Completed applications must be submitted no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 1 November 2022.

The I Love Goombungee exhibition will run from 19 October to 13 November 2022. The Rosalie Gallery is calling for submissions from all local artists, community groups and schools in the Goombungee area to participate. 

Each artist can submit up to 4 artworks which will be considered for selection. Emails must be received no later than COB Monday 19 September 2022.

Terms and conditions

  • Any medium - framed / unframed / 2D /3D
  • Submissions of up to 4 works for inclusion - due by email by 19 September 2022. The exhibition will be preselected from artist submissions.
  • Size restriction unframed / including frame / 2D / 3D
    • Maximum 100 cm x 100 cm
    • D rings – 10 cm from the top of wall works
  • No participation/hire fee for artists selected to contribute to the exhibition
  • If work is for sale: Rosalie Gallery charges 25% commission
  • Submission requirements – High quality digital image no larger than 2MB (image needs to be of suitable quality for possible promotional use), including the following:
    • artwork title
    • year of production
    • medium
    • dimensions of work
    • sale price (including 25% commission)

Artists will be advised of confirmation of entry by email. The artist must give permission to the Gallery to use image/s of their work/s to promote this exhibition via hardcopy, online and social media publicity.

Important dates

Delivery will need to be made on Tuesday 11 October, 9am until midday, or by appointment prior to Friday 14 October. Pick up (if not sold): Sunday 13 November at 2:30pm.
