Young people looking at exhibition

Supported proudly by the many artists of the region, the Rosalie Gallery holds a series of exhibitions throughout the year.

The Rosalie Gallery is closed and will reopen Thursday 28 January 2020.

Planning your visit

Your Gallery experience may be different from what you are used to, but your safety is our main priority. As we all adjust to a new way of sharing art, we ask for your patience and understanding.

If you do not feel well, please do not visit the Gallery.

  • Please consider what you bring as cloaking facilities will not be available.
  • Bags or objects over 40 x 40cm are not permitted in galleries in the Toowoomba Region.
  • Gallery tours and all other public programs are not available
  • Sales of artworks will not be conducted 'on premises' but artist details for sales will be available on request

Contact tracing information

It is a condition of entry to the Gallery that you provide your contact information. To comply with the requirements of the State Government, contact tracing in Gallery venues is now in an electronic format. Each Gallery has venue-specific QR codes that link to the SafeVisit website and enable visitors to check in and out of the facility using a smart device. Please screenshot or keep the page as proof of check-in must be provided on entry. It is important that you remember to check out so the time of your visit is accurate for tracing purposes. Our friendly reception team will be happy to assist you and we can help visitors without access to a personal device.

Collection Notice:  Toowoomba Regional Council may use your personal data provided in accordance with the  Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) for the purpose of contact tracing as required by the Queensland Government Health Directive.  The information provided will be accessed by authorised members of Toowoomba Regional Council and provided to public health officers, if required. Electronic data will be managed in accordance with the Public Records Act 2020 (QLD) and in accordance with the Queensland Health Public Directive.

Safety Measures

To ensure the health and well-being of our visitors and our team we are putting in place additional safety measures. These include:

  • Limited capacity in galleries: please follow signage recommendations for each gallery space;
  • Gallery team members will be available to assist visitors and monitor the flow of people through the Gallery;
  • Sanitiser stations are positioned at entries to each facility. Please sanitize your hands on entry;
  • Additional cleaning of the Gallery including high-traffic areas and high-touch items is in place;

Please note that in complying with coronavirus restrictions we currently cannot cloak any items. Bags or objects over 40 x 40cm are not permitted to be carried in the galleries. We appreciate your support in caring for the collections by leaving large items at home.

Protect our community

Please help us protect our community by:

  • Providing accurate contact information so you can be contacted quickly if you are affected
  • Complying with current physical distancing guidelines of 1.5 metres
  • Washing your hands frequently with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand rub
  • When coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue
  • Dispose of used tissues in the covered pedal bins provided
