Survey plan endorsement

You may need to lodge a survey plan for our endorsement. For example, this may be required:

  • for reconfiguring a lot - such as a subdivision or boundary realignment
  • to create a community titles scheme
  • building format subdivision (previously strata title)
  • to establish an easement over a property.

A survey plan endorsement checks compliance against existing conditions, development approvals, legislation and regulations. It is not an additional assessment of the original development.

To lodge a request for a survey plan endorsement, go to our online customer service portal.

  1. You may need to create an account. Select 'Register' from the top right menu.
  2. Wait for email approval. Allow two working days for the approval.

Assessing a survey plan

We will assess your request in line with Schedule 18 of the Planning Regulation 2017 (Qld). This may include an onsite inspection. If we need more information, we will contact you with details of what still needs to be completed.

Once all requirements are met, we will endorse the survey plan and contact you to find out how you would like to receive the signed plan and any other relevant documents.
