Nell E Robinson Park

Nell E Robinson Park hosts 19 hard surface and 8 grass Netball courts, along with two Soccer fields with associated lighting and off-street parking. A netball clubhouse, featuring a canteen, meeting room, toilets and showers is accessible off Carey Street. The same amenities are available for soccer and is accessed via Hume Street.

Park visitors can access playground and picnic facilities which include gazebos furnished with tables adjacent to Ruthven Street. Public toilets area available on the western side of the Netball amenities building.  Please be aware that the parkland and surrounding access roads can be very busy during sporting events.

History

This park is named after Toowoomba City's first female mayor Nell Elizabeth Robinson.
