This section of the Black Gully network of parks is popular with young families and exercise enthusiasts, featuring a children's playground, picnic and BBQ facilities, outdoor gym equipment, wide-open grassy spaces and lit walkways.
During Spring, the parkland is transformed with beautiful flowering pear trees on show.
The park features a children's playground with a variety of play equipment including swings, rock wall and climbing ropes as well as a brightly coloured dinosaur play area for young children.
The wide-open grass spaces are perfect for kicking a ball around and the concrete pathways provide a great spot for kids to ride their bikes and scooters.
Adjacent to the playground is an exercise equipment hub for adults. Outdoor gyms are a fantastic way to get active while enjoying the outdoors.
Look out for the QR Code on the equipment at the park and scan with your smartphone to watch an instructional workout video.
Picnic shelters with barbecue facilities make the perfect spot for a get together with family and friends. This area of the parkland also has a toilet amenities block with disability access.
Open grassed areas roll out either side of the creek with a long illuminated pathway connecting this area to other sections of the Black Gully Parks Network.
Black Gully Park 4 is located to the east and extends to Mort Street providing an attractive open space for park users.
Clearview Street dog off-leash park and Black Gully Park 2 shaded dog off-leash area can be found towards the west of the space.
