Pittsworth

Rich in pioneering history

Pittsworth is located 40kms southwest of Toowoomba. The area boasts some of Australia's richest farming land, with cotton being one of the most widespread and valuable crops. Other primary industries include poultry and egg production, grain cropping and dairy.

Pittsworth supports a large business community offering a wide range of shops, banks, professional and trade services. The town's amenities include a town hall, library and pioneer historical village. Sporting facilities include a swimming pool, golf course and bowls club.

For over 100 years the agricultural show has been one of the town's major events. Held in early March, the show provides an opportunity for the community to demonstrate all that is great about living in rural Australia.
