Millmerran Council history

The Millmerran Shire Council was proclaimed in 1913 under the provisions of the Queensland Local Government Act. The first Council Meeting was held on 9 July 1913.

At the time of the 2008 local government merger, the council consisted of a Mayor and nine (9) Councillors representing three (3) Divisions within the Shire.

On 15 May 2008, the Millmerran Shire Council was amalgamated with seven other Councils to form Toowoomba Regional Council.
