Middle Ridge - Make the Change 

This is a sports program designed for disability participants and their carers to develop sporting skills, become more active and engage with the community through sports and fun activities. Offering includes a mix of Soccer, NRL football, Boxing, T-Ball, Parachute Ball and Basketball. Sessions are fun and accessible for anyone over the aged of 16 (NDIS participants welcomed).

Where: Middle Ridge Park, Stenner Street, Middle Ridge
When: Thursdays, 3.30pm - 4.30pm
Please arrive 15mins prior to the session to meet the team.
Cost: $5 per person, per session

Note: Sports session will not run during school holidays and sessions may be cancelled due to weather – a notification will be sent out via email and also posted on the Make the Change, Health & Wellbeing Facebook page here.

Items to bring: Hat, sunscreen, water bottle and closed shoes.

Toowoomba - Social Croquet

Where: West Toowoomba Croquet Club, Newtown Park, 147a Taylor Street, Newtown
When: Mondays 9am,Tuesdays 9am, Wednesdays 2pm, Saturday 8.30am and Sunday 2pm.
Cost: Free - first four sessions including equipment and tuition (contact provider to confirm ongoing cost)

Toowoomba - Social soccer

Enjoy structured training to upskill or learn to play soccer, ending with a fun match. Suitable for any level of experience, no boots or uniforms required, shirts and equipment will be provided so just turn up and have fun. This program is targeted for the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Community.

When: School Term Tuesdays 3.30pm - 5.30pm (13-17 years) and School Term Thursdays 3.30pm - 5.30pm (6-12 years)

Toowoomba - Social Tennis

Come along to social tennis that will allow you to learn new skills, practice those skills, focus on injury prevention, build confidence, overall movement and wellbeing and meet new people who also share in a love and enjoyment of tennis. Sessions can be tailored to all skill & fitness levels and are held in a supportive environment by Coach Adolfo who brings a wealth of knowledge, passion for not only tennis but social connectedness and his unique energy to the court.

A FREE opportunity that connects Tennis and positive mental health outcomes for the community going though challenging times or just overwhelmed with life's responsibilities. The mission at RALLY4EVER is to help a diverse range of people with their mental health by providing access to tennis and an incredible community. No tennis experience is necessary
