Rosalie Gallery youth photography display celebrates creativity
Published on 31 March 2026
Calling all creative young photographers who aspire to see their work displayed at Goombungee’s Rosalie Gallery from late April.
The Gallery is joining Toowoomba Regional Council’s Youth Connect team to organise Let’s Frame It! photography workshops in early April ahead of an exhibition titled, Lets Frame It!, that will feature works from the sessions from April 22 to May 17, 2026.
The free, hands-on photography workshops will be held as part of Queensland Youth Week (April 11-19) to allow participants to explore technical skills and artistic expression with guidance from a Toowoomba photographer.
Photography workshops (Registration is required):
Oakey, Tuesday, April 7 from 10am to 1pm (Campbell Street) QLD Youth Week Photography Workshop Oakey, Oakey | Visit Toowoomba Region
Goombungee, Thursday, April 9 from 10am to 1pm (at Rosalie Gallery) QLD Youth Week Photography Workshop Goombungee, Goombungee | Visit Toowoomba Region
Photographs that are selected from the workshops for the exhibition will highlight the creativity and diverse perspectives of our Region’s talented young people.
The collection of photographs will reflect their individuality, eye for detail and emerging creative skills, capturing everything from everyday moments to imaginative interpretations of identity, place and community.
This exhibition will not only showcase the impressive work produced during the workshops but highlight the importance of providing young people with opportunities to learn, grow and express themselves through the arts.
By celebrating their achievements, we recognise the value of youth voice and the essential role young people play in shaping a vibrant and inclusive future for the Toowoomba Region.
