Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is inviting residents to share their feedback, with its Community Survey 2026 now open.

TRC Mayor Geoff McDonald said the survey provides an important opportunity for Council to understand how the community is experiencing services and where future focus is needed.

“This survey helps us track how we’re performing over time and understand what matters most to our community,” Mayor McDonald said.

“Your feedback will directly inform Council’s planning and decision-making, ensuring we continue to focus on the services and priorities that are most important to residents.”

Mayor McDonald encouraged residents from across the Region to take part.

“A broad range of responses helps give us a more accurate picture of community satisfaction and emerging priorities,” he said.

“Every response contributes to helping Council deliver better outcomes and experiences for our community.”

Mayor McDonald said Council had engaged Taverner Research Group, an independent provider, to conduct the survey, with some residents potentially receiving a phone call inviting them to participate.

“If you receive a call, please be assured it is legitimate,” he said.

“You will not be asked for sensitive personal information such as your address or date of birth. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to report them to the appropriate authorities.”

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and will remain open until Thursday 9 July.

Update: The community survey will be reopened for residents to share their feedback on 13 July.
