Duo’s ‘artventure’ elevates everyday items in Rosalie Gallery display
Published on 01 October 2026
Anna Moeba and Sarah Davis’s Two Artists Trippin’ exhibition charts their hunt for connection and collaboration in Goombungee.
The exhibition will be displayed at Goombungee’s Rosalie Gallery from 7 October to 8 November 2026.
With a modern twist on ‘en plein air’, Anna and Sarah construct ephemeral centre pieces of ‘trash’ that they collected while tripping around, delving into the concept that creativity exists in the everyday.
These centre pieces serve as the focal point for a series of reflective works, telling the story of their latest ‘artventure’ all while challenging the viewer to do the same in their own environment.
Two Artists Trippin’ weaves 2D and 3D elements into a layered narrative of the artists’ journey.
Known for drawing attention to the overlooked, the work is dense with hidden details, many drawn from local references, embedded throughout. The invitation is not to glance, but to linger.
The exhibition’s Artist Talk starts at 1pm on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
A free, self-paced art activity will be available for the duration of the exhibition.
As part of this year’s Jacaranda Day the Rosalie Gallery will be open from 9am to 3.30pm on Saturday, 7 November 2026.
