Darling Downs art teachers visit Another Dimension at Rosalie Gallery

Prepare to be swept away to Another Dimension when Darling Downs art teachers switch from instruction to creative mode for a collective exhibition at Goombungee’s Rosalie Gallery from January 7 to February 1, 2026.
Titled Another Dimension, the exhibition by the Darling Downs – Queensland Art Teachers’ Association will showcase works by primary and secondary school art educators.
The exhibition will examine the interplay between 2D, 3D and 4D art. It will showcase works that challenge perceptions of physical, psychological, conceptual and virtual dimensions, where each layer adds depth and complexity to visual experiences.
Reflecting the Australian Arts curriculum, it mirrors how senior students explore an initial idea to develop a portfolio across different media and into another dimension physically and conceptually.
This theme highlights the continuous evolution of artistic expression, bridging historical and contemporary practices to expand our understanding of art and its effects on experience.
The participating artists include Amica Aindow, Carly Diegnan, Candice Delfoski, Chrissy Dwyer, Ruth Ellington, Suzanne Hermann, Holly Kiehne, Helene Lemoulder, Milly Mason, Kim Glasson, Samantha Nolan, Carmen O'Grady, Sam Sexton, Rabin Sherchan, Rebecca Stanley, Jodie Smith, Audrey Williams and Chasley Wilson.
The exhibition’s Artist Talk will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 11am.

Rosalie Gallery is located at 89 Mocatta Street, Goombungee. The gallery is open from 10.30am to 3.30pm Wednesday to Sunday and closed on Monday, Tuesday and public holidays.
The gallery will be closed from 3.30pm on Sunday, December 14, 2025, before re-opening at 10.30am on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
