We are building water pipelines and a water treatment plant to connect to the new Toowoomba to Warwick Pipeline. This new water infrastructure will provide the communities of Cambooya, Greenmount, Nobby, and Clifton with safe and secure drinking water via the Toowoomba Bulk Water Supply Scheme.

Conserving water as a Council and future water planning

The project is funded by the Queensland Government and Toowoomba Regional Council. The Queensland Government has committed a grant of $15 million to this project.

Start date

October 2024

Targeted completion date

2027 in line with the completion of the Toowoomba to Warwick Pipeline, weather and construction conditions permitting.
