Goombungee Waste Management Facility

This facility accepts:

• general non-hazardous waste
• commercial waste
• gas bottles up to 9kg that are empty, limited to two, from domestic sources only
• tyres that are 260mm width or less, a maximum 4 tyres per visit, from domestic and commercial sources - fees apply
• dead animals by appointment only; call 131 872 - fee applies
• special burials, prior approval needed
• clean fill
• engineered stone products as general waste
• scrap metal, white goods
• motor oil from household sources only, to a maximum 20L per visit - no cooking oil, transmission oil or hydraulic fluids 
• paper and cardboard
• plastic containers, aluminium cans, steel cans, aerosol cans, cartons
• paint products from domestic sources only, maximum 20L per visit
• thinners and solvents from domestic sources only, maximum 5L per visit
• glass bottles and containers
• car and truck batteries, deep cycle batteries, lead-acid batteries, non-alkaline batteries from household sources only
• chemicals from household sources only to a maximum 5L per visit
• treated and untreated timber

The following items are not accepted at this facility:

• asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
• ammunition, detonators, flares or explosives
• liquid waste, except as listed in accepted waste
• solid regulated waste.
