Cranley Escarpment

Cranley Escarpment is a large remnant bushland reserve on the north-western outskirts of Toowoomba City. Covering almost 45 hectares, the park is a key recreation and open space providing interesting bushwalking trails.

If you bring your dog, please keep it on-leash.

How to get there

Cranley Escarpment has two access points:

Bedwell Street - Drive along Boundary Street and turn east on Bedwell Street. Follow the road to the end and park your car at the entrance.
Reserve Road - Drive along Greenwattle Street and turn west on Adelaide Street. At the end of the street turn right onto Reserve Road and park your car at the entrance.

Cranley Escarpment walks (open)

Best for: Bushwalking

Classification: Bushwalking (Grade 3)

Distance: 3000m+ (combined walks)

Walking time: Depending on the trails walked they may take between 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes.

Description: From Bedwell Street, the 203m track takes you through a grassy paddock to the start of a 1930m loop. From Reserve Road the 355m track ventures downhill to the 1930m loop. Along the track you may see some wildlife and many species of eucalyptus trees, including Ironbark.
