Special meetings of Council for considering development applications

The 'Special Meetings of Council' are to consider referred development applications and have replaced the previous Development Assessment Panel fortnightly meetings. The Special Meetings provide an opportunity for the community, applicants and submitters to provide comments and feedback to Council on the applications being considered. It also aims to ensure development within the region corresponds with the Toowoomba Regional Council's Planning Scheme, planning instruments, codes and relevant legislation.

The notice of meeting, table of contents and agenda items (excluding confidential items) are available on this website -toowoomba.civicclerk.com.au by 5 pm the day after the documents are provided to the Councillors. Minutes become available as soon as possible or within ten days of the meeting.
