Trevor was born in Toowoomba and spent the first 22 years of his life on his family’s dairy farm at Nobby, a property that straddled both the Cambooya Shire and Clifton Shire Council areas.

He attended Cambooya State Primary School and later Clifton State High School.

After completing his schooling, Trevor went on to establish his own dairy farm at Acland, within the former Rosalie Shire Council.

He farmed there for 18 years, operating a successful Holstein and Jersey stud. During this period, he became actively involved in the Toowoomba Royal Agricultural Society, serving as a Committee Member. After nine years running the Dairy Section, he stepped down and was appointed an Honorary Committee Member.

Trevor has a deep appreciation for the Toowoomba Royal Show and for country shows across the region, believing they are true reflections of community spirit.

Following the sale of his farm in 2001, Trevor relocated to Toowoomba and embarked on a new career in real estate. He spent 17 years with Century 21 Marsden Realty before joining RE/MAX Success, where he continues to work part-time alongside his commitments as a Councillor.

In 2024, Trevor successfully ran in the Toowoomba Regional Council elections, beginning a new chapter of service to the community. Trevor lives by the motto, “It’s Time for Commonsense,” which reflects the practical approach he brings to every meeting at City Hall. He considers it a privilege to serve the people of this vast region each and every day.

On a personal note, Trevor resides in Toowoomba with his partner. He is a proud father and grandfather to three grandsons, and he is driven by a desire to make decisions that will enrich their futures and the future of all residents.

Outside of his civic duties, Trevor enjoys gardening, collecting Australian art, and curating his collections of West German pottery, Charlotte Rhead pottery, and cork carvings.

Trevor is committed to the principle of “Equality for All, Across Our Whole Region.”
