General Manager Environment and Community Services - Nick Hauser

Nick Hauser has more than twenty years’ experience in local government, joining Toowoomba Regional Council in 2008 as Manager of the Parks and Recreation Branch before being appointed General Manager of the Environment and Community Services Group in 2014. He oversees a broad portfolio including parks and recreation; libraries and cultural services; environmental and regulatory services; community development, facilities, and tourism; and property services.

Nick was educated in Toowoomba and holds a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University. He enjoys spending time with his family and is currently enjoying a golden era of rugby league as an avid supporter of the Penrith Panthers.
