Central district

GOWRIE JUNCTION

  • Burkes Road: ROAD CLOSURE in place 610m from Old Homebush Rd for Flood Recovery culvert replacement works from 13 October 2025 through to end-December 2025 (weather permitting). Detour via Gowrie-Lilyvale Road and Old Homebush Road.

HIGHFIELDS

  • OBriens Road: ROAD CLOSED from Monday, 1 December until 19 December. Traffic disruptions may occur during this time.

NORTH TOOWOOMBA 

  • Bath Street: ROAD CLOSURE with Local Access Only from end-August 2025 to end-December 2025 for Flood Recovery remediation works within the Gowrie Creek catchment.

TOOWOOMBA CITY

  • Margaret Street (Between Victoria Street and Duggan Street): Traffic disruptions may occur during Concrete Layback works between Monday, 8 December and Friday, 12 December.
  • Norwood Street (Between West Street and Gowrie Street): Traffic disruptions may occur during the Bluestone kerb works.

WELLCAMP 

  • Oestreich Road (Spring Creek crossing): Floodway construction commencing in mid-August 2025. Local access only across Spring Creek during works.
  • Wellcamp Westbrook Road (Between Macaulay Road and Bunkers Hill School Road): ROAD CLOSED from Monday, 8 December to Thursday, 11 December between the hours of 6.30am to 3pm for Shoulder Grading. Detour via Macaulay Road, Blackwell Road and Bunkers Hill School Road

Southern district

BRANCHVIEW 

  • Branchview Road: ROAD CLOSED with detour in place due to bridge works

CAMBOOYA

  • Henry Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during the Four Communities Pipeline installation project.

GREENMOUNT

  • Stricklands Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during gravel resheeting works

MILLMERRAN

  • O’Connor Rd: Traffic disruptions may occur during causeway works, side track in place.

YANDILLA

  • Reichle Road: ROAD CLOSURE in place for Flood Recovery culvert replacement works from 14 October 2025 through to end-March 2026 (weather permitting). Detour via Owen’s Scrub Road, Grasstree Road, Church Road and Missen Road.

BRYMAROO

  • Brymaroo Irvingdale Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during flood recovery works.

CABARLAH

  • Adams Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during heavy formation grading works.
  • Evans Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during earth surface drain works.

EDGEFIELD

  • Dalby Nungil Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during heavy shoulder grading works.

FORMARTIN

  • Bowenville Norwin Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during maintenance works.
  • Carter Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during flood recovery and maintenance works.

GEHAM

  • Perkins Flat Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during medium formation grading works.

IRVINGDALE

  • Bowenville Moola Road: HVSPP Repairs - Traffic disruptions may occur during capital works.

KLEINTON

  • Brazier Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during medium formation grading works.
  • Goulds Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during medium formation grading works.
  • McEwan Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during medium formation grading works.

  • Sander Road: Traffic disruptions may occur during concrete culvert or pipe repair works.
