Gallery exhibition showcases floral world’s energy, complexity
Published on 05 November 2025
Toowoomba artist Sam Walton showcases the energy and complexity of the floral world in her exhibition, Abstract Blooms, which is on display at the Crows Nest Gallery from November 12 to December 14, 2025.
The exhibition is a joyful celebration of nature that invites viewers to connect with nature on a deeper level.
Drawing from her deep connection to the Queensland landscape, Sam’s work is intuitive and expressive.
Using a diverse range of materials like acrylics, pastels, and inks, she moves beyond literal representation to capture the feeling of a flower — its movement, its resilience, its wild beauty.
Each piece is built up with spontaneous layers of colour and texture, creating a rich history on the canvas.
This collection reflects Sam's core belief that art is a powerful tool for connection.
It is an invitation to see the familiar through a new lens and a testament to her enduring mission: to create art that brings joy and vibrant energy into your space.
The exhibition’s Meet the Artist event will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 11am to 1pm.
