Deferred payment of infrastructure charges policy

We can enter an agreement with you to pay your infrastructure charges later than that established in section 122 of the Planning Act 2016 (Qld).

Details are set out in the 2.49 Deferred Payment of Infrastructure Charges Policy(PDF, 201KB).

We will only consider the deferred payment if:

• a development approval has taken effect
• an infrastructure charges notice has been given for the development approval
• you provide us with an irrevocable and unconditional bank guarantee.

The bank guarantee must be:

• one we can rely on to cover the levied charge as indexed
• for at least the amount of the levied charge, plus indexation if applicable
• on terms to our satisfaction.
