To obtain a copy of your rate notice or water rate notice, the request may be submitted in writing, by email, in person or by telephone. Copies of notices are only available to the ratepayer, real estate agent (by authority from owner), or acting solicitor. Requests for copies of rate notices and water rate notices issued prior to 1 July 2021 will incur a fee of $10 per notice per property. 

Ratepayers may request a copy of their rate notice and water rate notice issued in the current financial year for free.

You can view rate/water rate notices online for free as a registered user. First you need to register (see instructions below), your details will be verified and then you can log into our online services and view your notices.

Registration instructions

  1. Click the 'Register' link at top right of screen.
  2. Complete the 'New user registration' online form and [Submit]. There are three pages to this form - the last will prompt you to set a password.
  3. Council staff will verify your details and enable your account. This is typically completed within two working days.

At the completion of this process you will be able to view your rate/water rate notices and other account details.

 

View rate and water rate notices

As a registered user:

  1. Click the 'Sign in' link at the top right of screen.
  2. Enter your username and password. Use the 'Forgotten your password' link at the bottom of screen if you need assistance.
  3. Under 'My Property' click on 'Property Assessment'
  4. Click on your reference number.
  5. Click on 'Attachments'
  6. Click on Link to open the attachment.
