Access road improvements for residential properties

We understand that road access is important to the safety, convenience and day-to-day lives of our residents. While Council is not legally required to construct new roads to service homes built on unconstructed roads, we recognise the challenges this can create for property owners.

In response to concerns raised by the community over time, Council committed $10 million to a five-year program to improve 19 roads that had previously been identified as priorities.

Through this program, unconstructed tracks are being upgraded to a minimum all-weather gravel standard, helping to provide safer and more reliable access for residents.
