Youth Action Plan 2025-2030
The Youth Action Plan 2025–2030 is a companion document to the Youth Strategy 2025-2030, our five-year strategy for engaging the many young people aged 12–24 who live, learn, work and play across our communities.
Drawing together our vision, role as a local government, existing practice and new initiatives, the Youth Action Plan is structured around four interlinked goals. Each goal governs a dimension of our strategic priorities for youth engagement, grounded in principles of developmental practice, early intervention and community self-determination. Together, the goals of the Youth Action Plan will guide how we support young people to actively shape the development of our communities, achieve their aspirations and enrich the civic, economic, cultural and social life of the Region.
