The Lucy Street Park in Cambooya will be upgraded to a district recreation park. In 2024/25 a budget of $533,000 has been allocated to the construction of additional play opportunities, connecting footpaths, tree planting and picnicking facilities.

Tree planting. new pathways, lighting and new basketball court works will commence week beginning 14 April with completion date 30 April weather permitting.
