Crows Nest Gallery was established in 1996 and is an important part of cultural life in the town.

Crows Nest is home to a diverse creative community that is passionate about the arts and is a favourite destination for tourists and people in the Region.

Owned and operated by Toowoomba Regional Council, the Gallery showcases and nurtures the talent of artists from the Region and beyond, sharing their creative practices with locals and visitors alike.

Admission is free.

Housed in the charming former Crows Nest Shire Council building, the Gallery is part of a small cultural hub with the John French (VC) Memorial Library that services the town. Entry to the Gallery is via four front stairs at the corner of New England Highway and William St.

The Gallery is wheelchair and pram accessible via a ramp at the back of the building and toilet facilities are located inside the gallery. There is a disabled bathroom available in Centenary Park across the road from the gallery.

The Crows Nest Gallery is calling for exhibition applications from artists, curators, arts workers and arts organisations for specific times in their 2026/27 exhibition program.

The exhibition programs foster engagement between artists/artist groups, the community and visitors to the gallery, providing opportunities to connect, share stories and celebrate creativity in our Region.
