Bowenville Reserve is located alongside Oakey Creek off the Bowenville-Norwin Road, a short 9km drive from the Warrego Highway at Bowenville.
The level camping area provides a peaceful, close-to-nature experience with stays limited to seven days. As no camping fees apply, please be mindful of keeping the reserve area tidy so everyone can enjoy it.
Non-potable water may be available. However, boil all water for at least 10 minutes before drinking.
The reserve also offers picnic tables and shelters, bins, toilets (no shower facilities) and a playground.
Although the Bowenville-Norwin Road is bitumen, entry to the reserve is gravel. Please be aware that certain areas can become boggy after wet weather.
The reserve has a total fire ban unless constructed fire pits exist.
Fishing is available from the shore and small watercraft are permitted. Electric motors are also allowed.
