An exhibition of miniature paintings highlighting the natural beauty of the Darling Downs and character buildings will be on display at the Crows Nest Gallery from September 18 to October 13, 2024.

Marilyn Murray’s exhibition, Little Darlings, references not only the size of the paintings, but the subject matter, the Darling Downs.

The exhibition features approximately 40 miniature artworks that will jog memories and evoke emotional ties to anyone who is familiar with the Darling Downs.

Created as part of Marilyn’s ‘Meeting History in Miniature’ series, these intricate works of art highlight the beauty of the Darling Downs, featuring old churches, community halls and pubs.

The exhibition’s Artist in Conversation event starts at 11am on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
