Goombungee’s Rosalie Gallery and Crows Nest Gallery are participating in the 2023 InStudio Art Trail, which will be held at participating artists’ studios and venues each weekend in August 2023.

More than 44 artists and makers are featured in the 12th InStudio Art Trail, which is a popular and free self-drive program held north of Toowoomba in creative pockets at Ravensbourne, Hampton, Cabarlah and Meringandan, as well as around Highfields, Crows Nest and Goombungee.

Crows Nest Gallery is joining the program for the second successive year with its curated selection of artworks by artists participating in the InStudio Art Trail.

InStudio InSights will be on display at the Crows Nest Gallery until September 3, 2023. As well as enjoying the Gallery exhibition, visitors are welcome to enjoy a leisurely drive through the High Country Hamlets region to meet artists in their creative spaces where they will provide an insight into their artistic practice and processes, creative methods and sources of inspiration.

To mark its inclusion on the InStudio Art Trail, Rosalie Gallery is hosting two free events.

Visitors are invited to meet artists Charlie Boyle, and Peter Fitzpatrick, along with photographer Wendy Roche, who will discuss works in their exhibition, Points of Departure, on Saturday, August 12 from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

The following day, Sunday, August 13 at 11am Charlie Boyle and Wendy Roche will present an artist talk.

Crows Nest Gallery, at the corner of the New England Highway and William Street is open from 10.30am to 3.30pm Wednesday to Sunday. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday and public holidays.

Rosalie Gallery at 89 Mocatta Street, Goombungee is open Wednesday to Sunday 10.30am to 3.30pm.
