By switching to electronic billing, you will receive your rate notice and water rate notice as an Adobe PDF to your nominated email address, and will no longer receive a paper copy by regular post.

How to register for email delivery

To register for email delivery complete the online registration form. You will need to complete this form for each property that you own.

You will need:

  • a current email address (you can register multiple email addresses for a property. A registration for each email address will need to be completed).
  • the reference number from your rates notice (as printed at the top of your rates notice).

You will receive an email to the nominated email address confirming if the email registration has been approved.

If you haven't received the confirmation email or your emailed rate or water rate notice:

  • Check your spam or junk folder - if the email from us (info@tr.qld.gov.au) has gone to your spam or junk folder, you will need to set the email message as not spam/junk (use the not spam/junk button)
  • add our email address (info@tr.qld.gov.au) to your email's safe sender list to ensure you receive our emails
  • if you need further assistance contact us

Depending on the rates cycle, you may receive one final paper rates notice before changing to email delivery.

How to change your details

To change your email address or contact phone number for this service, you will need to:

  1. Cancel your email deliver service by selecting 'Cancel email delivery' in the online registration form.
  2. Re-register for email delivery via the online registration form.

You can cancel email delivery of your rates notice at any time by choosing 'Cancel email delivery' in the online registration form.
