Australia Day is a day for all Australians to reflect, respect and celebrate what it means to be Australian. Throughout our region, on 26 January, various events are held to celebrate and acknowledge our history. These events are listed on this page in early January.

Australia Day awards are presented on 26 January, usually at one of the events.
