Enjoy lazy summer Saturdays with an outing to Toowoomba Regional Council’s (TRC) free 2023 Summer Tunes program in coming weeks.
TRC Environment and Community Services portfolio leader Cr Tim McMahon said performances would start on Saturday, January 28 and extend across four Saturday afternoons in February.
“Summer is a great time of year to enjoy a visit to our parks that will host some of the Region’s top musical performers,” Cr McMahon said.
“Pack a hamper and a picnic blanket to make a date with friends and family to keep the summer holiday vibes rolling.
“Council is pleased to continue the popular entertainment program, with new performances scheduled this year at the Jondaryan Woolshed and Cooyar.”
2023 TRC Summer Tunes program:
Saturday, January 28: 1– 4.30pm Without a Doubt, Jondaryan Woolshed; 1-4pm Wayward, Memorial Park, Cooyar.
Saturday, February 4, 1 – 4pm: Ethan Bielefeld, Pioneer Park, Clifton; Blue Room Blues, Memorial Park, Cambooya.
Saturday, February 11, 1 – 4pm: Andrzej Fenner, Newtown Park, Toowoomba; Stephen Henry Quartet, Picnic Point, Toowoomba.
Saturday, February 18, 1 – 4pm: Cathy Drummond, Rotary Park, Oakey; The Hobsons, Peacehaven Park, Highfields.
Saturday, February 25, 1 – 4pm: Slow Train Coming, Bicentennial Park, Southbrook; UnderCover, Centenary Park, Pittsworth.
