The Queensland Government introduced a Queensland Dog Breeder Register on 26 May 2017 to regulate the sale and supply of dogs and puppies.
By law all persons giving away, supplying, selling or advertising dogs or puppies must have a supply number that identifies the registered breeder of that dog.
If you are considering becoming a breeder you can contact us with any general enquiries.
The standards and guidelines for dog breeders are available on the Queensland Government biosecurity website.
If you are considering buying a new dog or puppy please check the Queensland Dog Breeder Register to ensure you are buying from a registered breeder with valid supply numbers.
For more information about the register or animal welfare in Queensland, please visit the Queensland Government biosecurity website or call 13 25 23.
