Providing quality community parkland, Groom Park contains two outdoor basketball courts, a two-sided ball rebound wall, two bitumen tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, shaded playground equipment and a large toilet block.

Groom Park Hall is located within this park, adjacent to Neil Street with limited off-street parking.

Groom Park hosts the weekly Toowoomba PCYC Cycle Safety program designed to provide road safety education to school students in Grades 4 & 5.

Since the program began, 1000's of the Region's children have attended Groom Park Bicycle Education Centre and received instruction from accredited Cycle Safety Trainers over two days.

The Centre's specially created learn-to-ride paths, including Stop and Give Way signs, railway and pedestrian crossings, a roundabout and operating traffic lights, provide students with a learning environment that mirrors the real world.
