The Highfields Sport and Recreation Park provides a high-quality, multi-sports facility that offers a range of opportunities for local members and visiting teams. Since its opening the venue has become a hub of community life in the Region, catering for large sporting events and regular team training.

The park is supported by ancillary facilities while also accommodating quality recreation and physical activity pursuits. Highfields Sport and Recreation Park is used daily for training and competition and is also suitable to host larger sporting events and carnivals.

The facility is located 20 minutes drive north of Toowoomba via the New England Highway.

Car parking is available and accessible off Cronin Road, Highfields.

The Highfields Sport and Recreation Park features multiple sporting facility options for the community to utilise.

Facilities include:

  • three rectangular playing fields - with one oval overlay suitable for cricket, supported by a clubhouse
  • netball court precinct, also supported by a clubhouse
  • walk/cycle path network
  • substantial car parking capacity
  • toilet amenities
  • picnic facilities including BBQs, shelters, picnic tables and chairs
  • a children's playground area.
