In the headstone section of our cemeteries, monuments, plaques and graves demonstrate the craftsmanship of many eras. Headstones tell the stories of generations of local people, their religions and contributions to their communities.

Our lawn sections are non-denominational and offer interment (burial) sites suitable for up to three interments. These sites allow the placement of plaques flush to the ground or where available, monument installation onto an existing concrete beam.

Our memorial lawn section is a non-denominational area offering interment sites suitable for three interments. These sites allow for the placement of headstones.

This peaceful resting place forms part of our non-denominational lawn area. A fixed concrete beam is provided for the placing of small desk headstones to commemorate your loved ones.

The forest lawn section which is a non-denominational area is shaded by native trees and provides a uniquely tranquil resting place.
This option is available at Drayton & Toowoomba Cemetery.
Ashes can be placed in any one of our columbariums which consist of a solid outdoor brick wall where ashes are interred and marked with a memorial plaque.

A garden is a contemporary alternative to the more traditional wall niche. This interment option allows cremated remains to be placed in a garden bed close to the memorial plaque.
There are memorial rose gardens available at:
Devine Memorial Gardens was opened to the public in 2012. The area offers memorialisation for the ashes of loved ones within gardens surrounding the water feature.
Seating in the rotunda and within the gardens provides a tranquil space for peaceful reflection.
This area is available at Drayton & Toowoomba Cemetery.
This serene location allows us to pay respects to those who served in the Defence Forces. The memorial plaque honours service personnel regardless of their final resting place.
This area is only available at Drayton & Toowoomba Cemetery.
This memorial wall location allows us to pay respects to those who served in the Police, Ambulance or Fire services. The memorial plaque honours 000 service personnel regardless of their final resting place.
Memorial choices are endless. When selecting a memorial plaque, you have the option to make your own arrangements with a stonemason of your choice or we can assist with the purchase of a standard or custom designed plaque through Council.

We have a wide range of quality and affordable memorial plaques available for purchase and are happy to provide a quotation for the supply and installation of a standard or custom-designed memorial plaque.

Please note, while we endeavour to maintain our cemeteries to the highest possible standards, families are responsible for repairs to headstones/plaques resulting from wear and tear over time. If you would like to install a new plaque, headstone or monument on an existing grave, an application and relevant fee is required to be lodged with us by the legal representative.

Alternatively, you may make your own arrangements for the purchase and install of a plaque with a stonemason of your choice.
Should you choose this option, a permit is required together with lodgement of the relevant fee.
