Rosalie gallery

Rosalie Gallery is a purpose-built facility that was constructed by the former Rosalie Shire Council to meet the growing needs of the art community.

Opened in 2005, the light-filled Gallery presents a range of high-quality exhibitions, workshops and art events that support the local community, artists and groups. The friendly Gallery and volunteer teams welcome the many local and travelling visitors with country hospitality.

Following the Queensland State Government's vaccination mandate, patrons must be vaccinated to access our facility, unless you have a medical exemption, in which case you will need to provide evidence. As part of the State Government mandate, you'll need to share your vaccination status and continue to check-in when entering the facility.

Please do not visit if in the previous 14 days you have:

  • returned to Australia from overseas (other than a safe travel zone country)
  • been in close contact with an active COVID-19 case
  • been in a declared COVID-19 hotspot, place of concern or exposure venue, as defined by the Chief Health Officer
  • had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu like symptoms in the last 72 hours.

Your gallery experience may be different from what you are used to, but your safety is our main priority. Before visiting please be aware of the following points:

  • Please consider what you bring with you to the gallery, as cloaking facilities will not be available.
  • Bags or objects over 40cm x 40cm are not permitted in galleries in the Toowoomba Region.
  • Group visits to the Gallery are available on a restricted basis. Bookings are essential.
  • Sales of artworks will not be conducted 'on premises'. Artist details for sales will be available on request.

Safety measures

To ensure the health and well-being of our visitors and our team, we are putting in place additional safety measures.

These safety measures include:

  • Sanitiser stations are positioned at entries to each facility. Please sanitize your hands on entry.
  • Additional cleaning of the gallery including high-traffic areas and high-touch items is in place.
