The Local Disaster Management Plan details the arrangements for the coordination and management of resources, to ensure and maintain safe communities within the region prior to, during and after a disaster. The plan is an important tool for building safer and more resilient communities through the local arrangements to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from major emergency and disasters affecting our region.
The plan was approved by the Toowoomba Region Local Disaster Management Group on 15 December 2023 and recommended for adoption by Toowoomba Regional Council on 16 January 2024.
