We've partnered with TAFE Queensland to deliver a training series of workshops and business mentoring to help small business owners and managers improve their business skills and build their businesses. This program is dedicated to helping aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners through a series of workshops and one-on-one mentoring. During this program, you will be guided by an experienced mentor to develop a business plan specifically tailored to grow your business.

Build a better business

Participants can choose from one of two delivery options:

  • Collaborative workshops located in Toowoomba – 3 hands-on workshops and three (3) 1 hour individual mentoring sessions
  • Mentoring program - Six (6) 1.5 hour individual mentoring sessions.

As part of this program, participants may be eligible for a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business (BSB40320). More information can be found in the Course Guide or contact TAFE Queensland on 1300 40 60 80.

As numbers are limited, participants must meet the following eligibility criteria.

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Reside within the Toowoomba Region.
  • Be an owner or manager of a small business located within the Toowoomba Region.
  • Be committed to attending and participating in all workshops and mentoring sessions. All sessions will be delivered via video link or alternative arrangements and can be booked at times that suit you.
  • Have at least 12 months experience in owning or managing a business, or being prepared to do so.
  • Demonstrate business need, suitability, and available resources as part of the EOI process.

Participants will be interviewed to ensure they meet the selection criteria required to participate in this program.

Spaces in this program will be allocated based on availability.
