Medium level (200 litres/person/day) - Brookstead, Cambooya, Cecil Plains, Clifton, Greenmount, Hodgson Vale (includes Top Camp), Pittsworth, Southbrook, Vale View & Yarraman schemes.

Continuation of permanent conservation measures (200 litres/person/day) - Toowoomba Bulk Water Supply Scheme (Oakey, Jondaryan, Haden, Crows Nest, Highfields, Kingsthorpe, Gowrie Junction, Meringandan, Toowoomba City, Westbrook and Goombungee)

Two notable projects are being completed under the umbrella of the Toowoomba City Master Plan in the 2017/18 financial year.

Bell Street Mall place study

Continuation of this place study will deliver recommendations for Council’s considerations for potential improvements to this mall in the future.

Early 2017.

Completion date

Mid 2018.

 

174 Margaret St pedestrian connection

This place study will involve a community engagement activity and presentation to Council of possible design options to make the most of this space as a pedestrian connection within the CBD.

Start date

Mid 2017.

Completion date

Mid 2019.

Stages

  1. Planning, consultation and reporting to Council will be completed in 2017/18 financial year.
  2. Subject to Stage 1 (including Council approval), construction is expected to commence in the 2018/19 financial year.
