Major projects delivered by the Infrastructure services group are detailed below. This group includes Transport & drainage, Construction & maintenance, Project services and Plant & fleet.

This project is part of the planned staged rehabilitation of Pipeline Road near Pittsworth and continues the rehabilitation from Bongeen Road to Mondam Road. In addition to budget allocated in the 2017/18 financial year to commence the project, $1.7 million has been allocated in the 2018/19 financial year to continue the works. We are undertaking a renewal program of $22.46 million on road and stormwater assets including reseals, gravel resheets, road rehabilitation, renewals of footpaths, kerb and channel and stormwater rehabilitation. The upgrade of the remaining gravel sections on the Wyreema Cambooya Road is continuing from last financial year with $800,000 allocated in the 2018/19 financial year for the 3km section towards Wyreema. Peters Road will be reconstructed between the eastern leg and western leg of the Meringandan Goombungee Road.  The reconstruction program will improve travel conditions for all road users and will include tasks to widen and bitumen seal the road, upgrade local road intersections, improve stormwater drainage and improve property accesses.  The entire project (all stages) will be carried out over the 2017/18 and 2018/19 financial years.
