The Bostock Road bridge is located between Pampas-Horrane Road and Lemontree Road. It is an important connection over the Condamine River for the surrounding communities and also a busy heavy vehicle route, especially around harvest time.
This bridge upgrade will offer numerous benefits for Lemontree district residents. It will improve transport efficiency for heavy vehicles, emergency services and disaster response teams. It will also improve safety and offer far more reliable and serviceable traffic conditions for residents.
The job will deliver improved approaches to the bridge and widening the existing single lane bridge to a two-lane concrete bridge. The nature of the work will mean the bridge will be closed to traffic during this time.
This $2.4 million project is jointly funded by Council and the Australian Government’s 'Bridges Renewal Program'.
