Environment & Community major projects

These projects will be delivered by the Environment & Community group of Council. This group includes Library & cultural, Tourism & events, Parks & recreation, Community development & facilities, Environmental health and Council property.

Empire Theatre bar
This project involves the refurbishment of the Empire Theatre box office, amenities, bars, main auditorium and foyers including seating and carpet replacement, as well as a back-of-house refresh. $4 million has been allocated in the 2018/19 budget to complete this activity.
