The wild dog check fence is a strategically important barrier for wild dog control in Southern Queensland. The check fences provide important protection to our livestock industries. This program provides for major restoration/ replacement of existing fencing, creek crossings and vegetation clearing 10 metres either side of fence for management access and minimisation of damage.

In the 2019/20 budget, $100,000 has been allocated to this program.
