Dams - review use for recreational activities

Cressbrook Dam kayaking

A review of the recreational activities at our three regional water supply dams will be finalised this year (2017/18). The study is to investigate the current recreational uses of our three dams – Perserverance, Cressbrook and Cooby dams. The study will look to optimise the range of recreation opportunities and will guide the delivery of appropriate community and commercial access into the future, whilst protecting our drinking water supplies. Community consultation will be utilised to understand the expectation of existing users and others interested in the recreation and commercial opportunities the dams present.
