The lake is closed to fishing and most boating activities. Water skiing and canoeing are permissible activities only for Perseverance Aquatic Club members and those engaged in organised activities through the Queensland Government Department of Justice and Attorney General’s Lake Perseverance Centre.
Other groups, including schools, can apply* to use the facilities which include accommodation, a conference room, an outdoor multipurpose court, a sports oval, canoes and archery equipment. *Approval is considered on a case-by-case basis.
