The Peacehaven Botanic Park Nursery is a specialist native plant nursery run by Friends of Peacehaven Botanic Park in cooperation with Council and is open to the public from 9 am to 12.30 pm on Thursday and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday. Many of the plants available in the nursery are rarely found in other general nurseries. Money from the sale of plants sold in the nursery is used to create and maintain the Peacehaven Botanic Garden - as a place of beauty and peace which encourages environmental conservation and education.
Volunteers at the nursery have a wealth of knowledge about native plants, particularly those from the eastern Darling Downs. Come into the nursery for a chat with the friendly staff or call 07 4630 8667.
The nursery is located at 56 Kuhls Road, Highfields.
The nursery welcomes volunteers to join the team, so if parks and plants are your passion, read more about volunteer opportunities here.
